Looking for some detailed plans/schematics or line drawings of the USS South Dakota. something like this:
http://www.hnsa.org/doc/plans/bb49.pdf
would be perfect..if only those were of the 1939 USS South Dakota and not the 1919 one:)
but any plans preferably high resolution digital but hard copy is ok as well. and thank you in advance!

btw although price is an issue, for the right plans I would be willing to pay so no matter the price if you know where there are some plans especially if theyre like the example shown in the Original Post(OP) please post them!
I would be able to use ANY South Dakota Class plans from this line of ship, but BB-57 would be best since it was set up as a flag ship..but like i said any SD Class plans would be helpful!

Actually I was hoping someone would bring that site up..I found them and am extremely interested in there plans..but i am leary as they have no samples of any of their plans so I am unsure of the quality and what I am getting.
Are these plans generally reliable and of good quality? How is the customer service if the plans are not what you need? Are there any Sample images around if so where?
thanks!

We reviewed several of them here: http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/bo ... html#plans
As a site sponsor, they're fairly reliable and don't recall any complaints. However, it may be in your interest to email them with specifics regarding what kind of drawings you are looking for to ensure you're getting the ones you need.

The plans are a mixed bag in terms of quality. Many of the old Bureau of Ship plans are reproduced exactly as they were. But the TW series plans have been redrawn and based on the last ones I have seen are very well done.

There's a side view at least on my copy of her Guadalcanal Damage Report.
