Hi,
I have chosen only one, HMS Renown rebuilt, as I think the list if too much Anglo-Saxon oriented...
There are many others which I would have liked to see, like : Vanguard, Kaga, Hiei, Hyuga BB, Paris rebuilt, La Galissonnière cuiser, Normandie, Cavour (helicopter carrier), Kiev, FREMM and Horizon destroyers from FR and IT for instance ...
Viribus Unitis is announced in the future by Combrig

Don't know what it is with my system, but it won't let me vote.

my choices would be County class & Leander class cruisers.

If 3rd pick was allowed, Illustrious class carrier.

Si

Leander Class Cruiser if we're talking the 1930s version - then it needs to be the modified ones for the Royal Australian Navy.

Other suggestions (because I'm a parochial Aussie):

Majestic class carrier (a la, HMAS Sydney III and Melbourne)
Town class cruiser (a la HMAS Sydney I)

cheers,

bj

I went with the Essex SCB-125 and pre WWII Big 5. But only because CV-6 Enterprise was not available.

I don't know if anybody has looked back at the Dragon 2010 Survey, I include the RN results for comparison purposes:

Top 5 poll winners:
1. HMS Nelson class
2. HMS County class
3. US Big-5
4. HMS Leander class
5. HMS Ark Royal

RN results:
HMS Nelson 26
HMS County 24
HMS Leander 20
HMS Ark Royal 19
HMS Dreadnought 18
HMS Illustrious 18
HMS Town 17
HMS Colony 11
HMS Dido 7
HMS Vanguard 7
HMS Tiger 6
HMS York 6
HMS Queen Mary 5
HMS VW class 5
HMS Hermes 4
HMS Colossus 3
HMS Flower 3
HMS Lion 3
HMS Type 42 3

It strikes me that the County and Nelson classes are still in the lead here, and this is an independent survey! (Not to put too fine a point on it!)

Went with Portland Class Cruiser (need one in plastic ), none of the choices were something I would realistically buy, nor buy several times (like a CV-6).

G'day Dave,

Yes, know all about that one, thanks, but would prefer a plastic to a resin one any day.

cheers,

bj

Being a Brit - Nelson class and also Sovereign would be utopia but also Minsk class and a Moskova for later days as I am partial to some red in my palette.

I have voted for a Revenge class Battleship and a county class cruiser but what I really want to see is some 1/350th Brit BBs or Battlecruisers in their original WW1 configurations e.g an Iron duke, Queen Elizabeth, Revenge class Renown or Tiger before they became cluttered up with A.A guns and radar aerials everywhere. I firmly believe that these ships looked at their best when their lines were cleaner. They seemed to radiate pure power.

As usual the system wont let me vote, but the votes would have been on R-class and Nelson's.
If I could chose whatever I wanted, a 30's HMS Tiger and a CV-6 would probably have been my first choices.

I dont know if my vote went in.. but it is clear as it can be to me that a Nelson class, an 'R' class and QE first modernization (although not an option here), Big 5 before and during war, New York and Nevada classes are all a MUST regardless the order they are to be released. Of course i wouldnt complaint for a Tiger, or Iron Duke, but Combrig has me covered as far as WW1 goes, with their impending release of the British battle cruisers and German Battleships in 1/350 .Plenty of stuff there to keep you busy for years.

Well I went with the HMS-Nelson and it would be great if this ship could be produced in 1/350.

Then HMS-Rodney would be able to be made :cool_2: .

There is one other ship which is not on the list to be produced in 1/350 and that is the war time version of HMS-ArkRoyal with swordfish aircraft. :wave_1:

I am dying for a some new modern kits:
US
Whidbey Island LSD

Tico with BMD Update
Virginia Class SSN FLT II with updated bow
Lewis and Clark Replenishment Ship

Russia
Kiev/Minsk CV
Krivak II FFG
Gorshkov CV (INS Vikramaditya)
Balzam class AGI
Sierra II SSN
Akula III SSN
Piragna SSM

China
Re do of all the cruddy trumpeter Chinese ships (Jiangwei, Jianghu, Luda)
Yuzhao class LPD
Shang SSN
Jin SSBN

Other
Yono/Sango SSMs
Cheonan or any other Ulsan Corvette ( heard this might be coming out, but now nothing)
Hyuga class DDH/CV
Combattante
ANZAC FFG
Alvaro de Barzan AEGIS FFG
Type 42 DDG

Here's the 1/350 scale vessels I'd like to see made into kits by Trumpeter, Airfix, Dragon, Cyber Hobby, etc:

USS Ford, CVN-78
USS Zumwalt DDG-1000
USS San Antonio Class LPD-17
HMS Queen Elizabeth CV-01
HMS Ocean LPH
PLAN Type 071 LPD
Italian Cavour CVH
Italian Horizon DDG
French DeGualle CVN
French Horizon DDG
Spanish Juan Carlos LHD
Spanish F100 Aegis FFG
INS Virkamaditya CV
INS Kolhkata DDG
Australian Canberra LHD
Australian Aegis DDG
ROKN Dokdo LHD
ROKN SeJong Aegis DDG (KDX-III)
JMSDF Hyuga CVH
JMSDF 22DDH CVH

Still lots of really good modern vessels out there.

I am involved with building 1/350 scale CSGs for all of the major naval powers and have the kits identified and mostly bought for the US, PLAN, UK, and Russia. I want to build Indian, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Jaopanese, and Australian groups as well if they ever make the kits.

Here's the link to what I am currently planning, what I have already built, and what I am currently working on:

Okay, I will jump into this pool, too.

I would like to see made into 1/350:

USS Baltimore (CA-68)
USS Newport News (CA-148)
USS Cyclone (PC-1) with a spru and decal options to build the rest of the class
USS Enterprise-D (NCC-1701-D)
