Designed for us by Peter Hall (so you know it's good) and produced for us by Aber (so you know it's good), we are pleased to announce Pro 3527. This is a set of turned brass parts for the 1/350 Warspite kit, and consists of:

All mast and booms;
All gun barrels as follows:
8 x 15" Mk 1 Guns;
8 x 6" MkXII Guns;
8 x 4" MkXIX Guns;
32 x 40mm 2-pdr pom-pom barrels;
40 x 20mm Oerlikon barrels.

This will allow modellers to mix and match PE, Pro parts, and decks, detailing as much or as little as desired.

Price is now set at £42.04 ex-VAT, and we should start shipping some time next week. Step right up with your orders:

Cool idea. Might we see this for some other kits?

It's a possibility--probably depends on how well this one does....

Hi John. Is there any chance I could purchase the 6in barrels seperatly? I'm too far advanced with my build to use the other contents of this set but as I added the 6in guns near the begining of my build I've managed to consequently destroy them all working on the model since.

Regards Adrian

P.S. Any idea when you will be releasing your 1/700 HMS Coventry kit? Been drooling over it since first anounced and it's a while since it was due.

Hi Adrian,

Unfortunately, Aber is producing these for us in complete sets, so we don't have spares and would have to break up a set.

John, I know this is not very helpful, but would you consider doing a set for the Trumpeter 1/350 HMS Queen Elizabeth?

I imagine most of the parts will transfer over, just need the 4.5 inch barrels.

I'll pass the suggestion along to Dave & Peter--they'll be the decision-makers.

I just checked in with Dave Carter, and the answer is a definite yes. I'll try to get an item number & description up on the website today or tomorrow so folks can pre-order. We'll also be doing a set for the 1/350 Dreadnought.

Could you make a set for italian cruiser Pola by Hobbyboss? That would be so useful as nobody has made a set for her yet.

Peter Hall has a Pola PE set on his to-do list, but the problem is in trying to find reference material.
