Hi all scratchbuild modelers!
I have started new model project, 1/200 Yamato.
The references are 'The anatomy of the ship Yamato'and 'Super illustration of Yamato'

Ive sent to the plan and wood to wood workshop.
The wood is cutted by band saw like this photo.
Marking on the frame no. and center line.

question: what wood do you using to carve?
p.s. i have this book from Janusz Skulski and is the more complet book
from Conway i saw after this series the recent books is not good with bad drawings.
the drawing of this Yamato book are extraordinary.
