That is truly some accolade!! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

It is still am mystery to me how you can bear to part with your models....

Other than the obvious consideration off space...==> 1/96 !!!

So much of your self is in each build....

Another masterpiece...in duplicate this time  I just read through this whole post. Inspires me to get back to my Bluejacket 1/192(?) Gambier Bay though I can only dream about matching your craftsmanship. I don't mean to gush but your work is top notch. This and your USS Kalinin Bay build have provided me with great reference shots for my kit and cleared up alot of confusion about certain areas on these ships. Now if life would stop getting in the way :lol_3: maybe I could finish mine up.

John

In May of this year I went to Chicago, and stopped in MSI. I took the U-505 tour, and when I was exiting the room I noticed a large-scale reproduction of a CVE and a DE. I just now figured out it was this same exact build! I have to say, it is my favorite display of any ship. Well done, indeed!

Jev, Glad you got to MSI. Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated, Bill W.
