Thanks, you are all very kind!!
This is for me a good support because, specially during the working process of my models, normally I'm never satisfied of the result and I tend to see mainly the imperfections.
It's a my, serious, problem or the same has ever happened to you?

The creater always sees little imperfections that most people don't see .

Bento,

The builder is always the harshest critic. You needn't worry, your Minerva is beautiful! It is an interesting subject and you have rendered it very well. I have to keep reminding myself that this is 1:400, and not a much larger scale.

In your early posts the hull was mostly finished. How did you construct the hull? What materials?

Phil

The entire hull was built with plasticard, I covered the hull lines with a double layer of plastic strips.
I preferred the plastic instead the most popular wood because, in my opinion, it is better to built hull, deck and upper structures on the same material.

Bento!!¬

excellent progress as usual.

Its a shame that Image shack is so rubbish!-- most of your earlier image shave disappeared...

Can you upload them using the MW.com way?

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1261

that way the images will be permanent! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Best wishes

Jim Baumann

Hello Jim!!
I' m sorry, for my very slow responses in the forum, but I'm very busy in my job and also I went through a period of low modelling creativity.
Now the job is always growing, but the modelling creativity looks back!
I will carefully read your link in order to show again the lost pictures.
Best wishes

Hi Richard,
I agree with you, only a Greman type could think a ship as..
Ok I will send you my complete Minerva plan, I'm very happy to have pushed you in the building a Minerva in a larger scale.
If can be hseful for you I can send you also some pictures of the ship before and after the conversion in sperrbrecher.
