1/700 Ropes and cables
For 1/700 scale, what is the best material for cables? How do you achieve what is circled in green?

Stretched sprue is a good material for 1/700, there's a great guide to making and applying it pinned at the top of this section. I'm not sure about the circled parts but they're likely either photoetch, or scratch made, I'm sure one of the more experienced modellers will be able to tell you.

The circled objects apper to be insulators. The wires that they are attached to appear to be long wire radio antennae. I would make them from thin styrene rod of larger diameter than what I used to represent the antenna wire.
For the wires, I would use UNI Caenis thread, which is primarily used for tying fly fishing lures. The diameter of this thread under light tension has been measured using an electron microscope at 0.04938mm (0.00194")
