Events and Shows - Petts Wood in Kent - on 18th August

[Mike Reading]

For those who can be around South East England on Saturday 18th August 2012, The Society of Model Shipwrights will be holding its bi-ennial exhibition of ship models and paintings at the hall that's in the town square next to the railway staion at Petts Wood, Kent.

At previous bi-ennials there have been models of excellence and all being well this year's will be no different. The models are mostly scratch build. They tend to represent ships and boats across the ages. So there is sail through to steam through to turbine.

If you are able to come and want to make yourself known to me, I'm Mike Reading and along with my friend Eric Dyke shall be one of the judges, so recognisable in having a clipboard in my hand.

Further to my previous post about my societies exhibition in August, there should be further information and details on our web site - www.modelshipwrights.org

Sorry about the link not working, Mike - the replacement phrase is aimed at a certain other site that shares the same name, but different suffix (.com instead of your .org).

For those interested, Mike's URL is www.model shipwrights.org, but without the space.
