USS Pittsburg CA-72 (1/700 Trumpeter)

I finished Uss Pittsburg (1/700 Trumpeter).
Resume:
Photoechted White Ensign Models (PE 768)
Gun Barrels 203 mm Model Master
Secundary Guns: brass
Mast: Needles 0,8 mm and 0,7 mm
Blast bag: Tefl�n
Catapult: Scrachtbuild.
Chains: Cooper wire
Rigging: Unicaenis
Sea = Frank Spahr�s method
Flags: Means P-H-E-L-P-S, the name of a Baltimore man (An outstandig person and sportsman) for a Baltimore Class ship.
I built her for the cruiser group build.

All American Cruise ships are a very interesting. This model is not very complicated, but it has some mistakes.
I hope to improve in other constructions.

Very nice! The water looks good too! I just hope Trumpeter will release their 1/350 Baltimore and Pittsburgh they listed in their catalogue soon so I can have a go at these US cruisers. :pout:

This post is 2012. I have this ship in my collection and I would like to repeat some cruise of Baltimore class.
I have improved the seascape in other models.
