This was a nice build, although the hull had some very bad joints, and internal bulkheads were needed to correct and straighten the hull, making it rigid and helping to ensure the decks fitted properly.

I still have some minor issue, decals, flags, numbering. But this was my first of this type of warship and I certainly want the larger S-100 to RC.

Although my skills are average, after returning to the Hobby, this kit was a fun build, and a learning build as well.

Looks very nice! I was wondering if the kit provided any interior parts for the pilothouse?

Not really, thier is a helm, and wheel but little else.Still their is some nice detailing to this kit.But the lower hull is terrible. I was able using plasticard sheet to strengthen the hull and straighten it's rather twisted appearence.

I used mostly aresol paints on the hull nd hand painted the rest.I have a fine airbrush set but did not use it on this kit. Some regretes on that discission, but the ship looks basic,as delivered for service.

A paint scheme i CONSIDERED was just beyond my skill level. Here is a picture.

S dog, your E boat looks good...... I like this class better than the S-100.

Thanks Dan, I would like to build the Larger and later version as well. Possibly after the other projects I am involved in.

I found a few pictures of the S-Boat during the build, perhaps this might assist someone else building this kit. The main deck has many features that require effort to paint and detail in order to demonstrate the clean look of this type of craft. At least in my view the effort to highlight the details makes for a more interesting ship.

File comment: The arrows point to points that required shaping t fit properly. The very point of the main deck bow section required shaping as well to fit properly, not much but still test fitting the deck is advisable from my experience building thi kit.

File comment: Viewing the progress while relaxing.to this point I am well pleased with the results of my labors. Most of the superstructure and dck armaments were built as seperatly and then installed as complete sections. This allowed me to spend time detailing.

Two more pictures that may help other during assembly, superstructure fitting was without any problems.I paint and detail the entire superstructure prior to fitting .Even at this stage I did no secure the superstructure, just tested the fitting and set it aside until other details were installed.
