NEW figures from Northstarmodels 1/350 and 1/200 scale

Post by Northstarmodels »

Hello dear friends.

Our new items - US NAVY figures in 1/350 and 1/200 scale. NSA350506 and NSA200506 will be available for sale at the end of October. 65 figures in various positions: Sailors loaded shells, boxes, wash the deck, taking photo. Sailors and officers look through binoculars. The officer shouted into the megaphone. Officer scolds sailor, the officers and sailors near railing. Sailors rest....

The pictures shows the support for the casting (suspended), support shown on the shoes too. Some elements of the figures made oversized ??specially.

The new standard in ship-board figures, it appears. Great looking product, it'll sell well if priced properly.

I think it will be very expensive, unfortunately. The figures not painted, like our other kits in the 350 scale.
We can try to make a painting, I will report about results.

RRP - 25-27 USD in 1/350 and 1/200 for 65 figures. The product is very difficult to design and manufacture.

If there were seated AA gunners in 1/200 I would be interested. Not looking forward to modding the railroad figures I have to man my guns.

Any chance you can make IJN sailors in 1/200 scale?

I like what I see. I hope it translates well into a finished product. I like figures that tell a story and I'm seeing some possibilities here. It would be cool to have a set in dress whites playing instruments for my 1:200 Arizona. :thumbs_up_1:

Yes of course, we have plans for it.

And... a small update: figures of German sailors and officers.

Casual DKM sailors! THANK YOU!!!
I apologize, I am largely a novice at DKM uniforms, but would these be adaptable to Summer/Tropical by simply painting elements white?

Do you also plan to do Royal Navy sailors in 1/350? I will need some for HMS Hood, KGV and Tribal class destroyers.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to make the German sailors without headdress and have separate headdresses ? This would allow, at this small scales, make them useable for both WW1 (and even before) and WW2. Or will there be any WW1 ones too ?

Seems like there are a lot of people interested in scale sailors. Think someone is about to make some money.

My personal need would be for 1/200 IJN sailors that are in battle settings. Fujimi put out 1/350 figures that are what Im looking for here: http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/mi ... box-01.jpg

I'd like to get them to look like the uniforms in the Otoko Tachi No Yamato movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pH9JVJ-n0po If you could make some with the hachimaki (headband) that would be bonus. Helmets on the rest of the crew.

I have about 1000 of Z scale train station figures and Im afraid Im going to have to spend too much time modifying to get what Im looking for. Im hoping you guys can come through.
