This isn't really relevant to the theme. I am a huge fan of WWI and pre dreadnought era warships. Was wondering if you would consider making a conversion set for the Warspite to backdate her to WWI era.

Also, will you be considering designing any detail sets for predreadnoughts like Zvezda's Borodino, Varyag, ICM's Konig class, Hasegawa's Mikasa or Revell's Emden?

We are preparing 1937-1941 version from Academy Warspite.
But WWI era Warspite is too many parts to be changed or added. I think Trumpeter should have developed the earlier Warspite than duplicating with Academy's.

Mikasa is within our next year project.
The remains may be started from 1914...

Thank you
Kim

Yep last time I had discussed for 1937-41 version with you through email.

I think Trumpeter would not release 1941 version so we will start this version within next year.

Many modelers have claimed to us same as your wallet problem...

Thank you
Kim

I sent an e-mail to help@pontosmodel.com regarding a missing part from my Warspite set on 10/19. So far, I haven't gotten a reply.

I'm a fan of your products--the Warspite set is amazing--so I don't want to make a big deal out of it. It's possible that you've already mailed the part and just haven't gotten around to replying to the e-mail yet. I sent you my info via PM. Please let me know.

Sorry missed your email.
To ship extra chain is no problem.
Free shipping is one time for lost or missed part.
So before our shipping please check again other contents too.

Thank you
Kim

Thanks for the reply. I'll do so as soon as I have the time and nerves. Handling those tiny gun barrels is quite stressful.

Hello Kim,

currently I am building the Warspite with your amazing set. But i am somewhat confused about some parts:

1. While working at the bridge I found that i will need part No.142 15 times but I can only find 14 of them on the fret. Am I just too blind to see or is it missing?

2. What about all the portholes? I can´t find them in the instructions, so can I use them where I want or is there some special place where to fit them?

3. Same about some doors which seem to have no Number

4. Are there any spare ladders?

Kind regards

Ingo

Hi, ingo

1. Ok?
2. All the porthole is bonus option Part.
3. No number doors are bonus option parts too.
It is your choice, but you can change if you want to replace the kit portholes and doors with the PE parts.
4. Sorry, there are no extra ladders.

Thank you

Hello,

I have another two questions:

On the instruction sheet page two, bottom right, where the aft superstructure is shown, a small etched part can be seen. Probably some kind of rest for the 40ft derrick. What part No. is this?

Where should I use the catheads part No. 132, 133?

Kind regards

Ingo

I just got given the premium kit as a birthday present.

It is just the inspiration I needed to get the other projects off the bench and get back into the hobby.

Hello SH Park,

Can you share the rigging scheme you used in your model. I can't figure it out just from your pictures.

Thanks,

José Luis

Hello all,

I have two questions regarding the Warspite Academy premium set:

1.-Where are we supposed to place the night lifebouys?. I can't find them in the instructions.
2.-What are parts 205 and 206 of your second PE sheet for?

Thanks,

Jose
