 Post subject: 1/600 Robust Class tug

Having just purchased 'British Steam Tugs' book which includes many scale plans I decided to scratch built a couple of tugs that were stationed at Malta

First in line A Robust class 144 ft long

watching your scratchbuilts rekindled back my interest.
I was going to try your methode for life boats but opted to sculpt them from scrap resin blocks and take an impression.

I have two other tugs in mind next

sharp and clean!! How did you cut the paddlebox slots...?

In contrast--and as inspiration here is a twin funneled tug--built in the scale of 1/1000...(!! )

Actually they are not cut but impressed in a layer of magic sculpt

I'm blown over with these smaller scale models
