As still told in our small group Michi - stunning awesome job! :thumbs_up_1:

About the number of Oerlikons ... well nothing against this Swiss company (you know both reasons why  :cool_1: ) ... be happy not to build an Iowa class ship. US big ships in Pacific were more swimming AA hornet nests as everything else. :cool_2:
My USS Essex carrier has 60 x 20mm Oerlikon + Bofors ... :woo_hoo:

One of those models that you want to keep coming back to look again.

Thank you guys.... Well, it was a hard piece of work, but all in all I'm more than happy with the result.
Currently working on the Alliance Harbor Tug, I will post some more pictures soon.

My next big project: L'Arsenal Liberty Ship... But I'm afraid of waterlining the massive hull :frown_2:

As still told in our small community site Michael, awesone and excellent work! Beside Alaska itself, the tugboat is only a dream! Can't wait to see her live in Zeiskam! :-)

Thank you all guys!

The project itself was more than a challenge, but I learned a lot about scratch building.... And how to solve problems at all.

I will post some pics in the gallery for sure!!
