Back to work on this. The San Jose and Okinawa are just about done. Maybe the hardest build I've try to do.

This is coming along nicely. You have captured the look of the original Island. I thought at one time there was a conversion kit out there for this kit, but I don't think it ever came to fruition, lots of well meaning chatter though. I am looking forward to this.

Just ordered the Shapeways 3d beehive 1/350 island. Nov.4 is my delivery day. 1967 is still on.

update: beehive in production to ship Nov.5. So with that I order Tom's model works hangar deck. Also I waterline the hull. With Starfighter decals. My dream dio is not a dream any more. Image
