What is the second vessel down, looks like a French per-dreadnought?

Also, is that a 1/700 IJN destroyer I see at the bottom? Whoa.

Those 1/350 ships are some interesting subjects Brandon. Not sure what they are but they are unique and interesting to look at. The PE looks pretty good as well. Are you at the show? Thanks for sharing!

The subjects are, according to their name plates:

HMS Roberts
Imperial Russian battleship Tsesarevich
IJN destroyer Shimakaze (by Pit-Road)

I think Combrig makes both monitors in 1/700 (in resin, off course).

Those d
Dreadnaughts are so ugly that they're interesting! Sort of like a train wreck - you shouldn't watch, but you have to! In spite of being Trumpeter, they'll most likely going on my 'gotta-get' list. :wave_1:

Well,

Both are 2 very interesting vessels for me, because Russo-Japanese war of 1904/1095 and Royal Navy are my 2 main areas of interest!
Hoping that the Tsaerevitch is not only a "paper fire" of an exceptionaly model without following other Russian and more important some Japanese vessels of that war

Cheers,
Christian

Sure, Trumpeter is on one hand known to make some unnecessary mistakes on their models, but ... Isn't it a little bit early for such a statement when only some pictures of the master are shown? :wave_1:

The Tsesarevich looks like a disaster. Just look at the model's bow and compare it to and of the photos online. What a disappointment.

Well, you are right that incorrect bow ... but if this error is for you a disaster, well, what are the Borodino's from Eastern Express / Zvezda for you?
Sorry, for sure I criticize Trumpeter by my own very much, but this here from you is really a "whiny on high level" for a smaller error in model as so far visible for the moment.
More problematic is here in my opinion maybe the stern area in matter of corret angle etc., but this can't be rated out of this photo for the moment!

The bow issue strikes me as a terribly obvious and completely unnecessary mistake, indicative of just how little these guys care about creating a reasonable replica. It's just a question of basic competence. I am far from a Tsesarevich expert and it jumped out at me immediately. I have been waiting for this ship for ages, and even a botched job by Trumpeter virtually guarantees that, e.g., Combrig will never take the subject on.
