Thanks for the reply Jim. I have a couple of sets of different ultrafine raillings on backorder and they have been for quite a while now :( every time I try to get them somewhere else they are also out of stock or the prices are stupid for postage.
I used the rails from the WEM Southampton set because I had them allready and I wanted to play. They do look abit much though, and the black is a little full on and needs toning down. I sprayed the whole fret black first and I was trying not to get to thick a coat
Thanks for the tips I'll give those ago next time.

whats driving me nuts is how the hell do I get in and fix up the handrails on this lot :(

Looks really good. You've inspired me to add this together with Indefatigable to my stash. One thing you might want to check is the length of the barrel that protrudes from the turret as it looks a little long. I had this happen with some of the 13.5" barrels they do for HMS Tiger. Once I had added them I thought they didn't look right and on checking plans it turned out that the aperture in the turret needed drilling out more and the barrels setting deeper inside to get the correct length.

Nice work Callum mate. :wave_1:

I think the gun lengths are ok.
Overall looking good.

I am sure you will have a Diorama up and running soon for WWI :thumbs_up_1: .

Cheers Capt-P :cool_2:

Damm the guns are to long, well that really sux since they are stuck there and I'm not going in to try and pull them out with the rigging in the way. its only a bit over a mil tho and considering her other flaws meh I'll live with it. It didn't even occur to me to check them before I put them in place.

Thanks Harry I'll get back to the dock after I have finished this.

Capt P. Sydney is on back order, and I have all the info I need now for a scratchbuilt Aussie River thanks to a gentleman here so I am all set to get stuck in to a bit of company for Australia. Just need to finish the dock first.

Thanks George and thanks to everybody for the help and encouragement through the build its been great.
Regards
Callum
