Thank you so much for such a quick reply. Could you please transfer to Mr. Kim our congratulations with a really GREAT model from Russian modellers?
Maybe he will kindly make small master-class for weathering & painting technics for all of us?

The weathering looks straight out of this DVD. (also PAL format)

The link to the DVD appears to be broken. Any chance on a new link?

Hello SH Park and Kim:

Thanks so much for sharing your masterful work with the group. Your work is truly outstanding both as a modeler and a Photoetcher. Your group photo from May 2013 says it all.
I look forward to purchasing a set for my recently purchased Academy Indianapolis and seeing it through completion.

Best wishes for continued success

Next year, we will share much time for the variation sets as some Detail sets for Warspite, Dreadnought and indy for Trumpeter kits.

Thank you
Kim
Worth the wait or it's already obsolete?

Warspite/Dreadnought would not be cancelled.
But Indianapolis of Trumpeter has serious main turret and some other kit problems.
So this indianapolis detail set may be hard to be released.

Thank you

So it seems like the Trumpeter detail kit is not going to come out. Has anyone tried to use the Academy detail set with the Trumpeter Indy? I ask because I got a pretty good deal on a Trumpeter 1945 Indy before really comparing it to the Academy version. I want to use the Pontos advanced set but not sure if it will fit, especially the PE nonslip surfaces. Would it be more worth it to sell the Trumpeter on ebay and just buy the Academy version? Thanks for any suggestions!

What is the best type of glue to use when applying the stainless steel decks? CA, epoxy or contact cement? Also, is it best to remove the molded on anti- skid from the kit decks?
Thanks, Jon

Dear Mr. Kim

I have send couple of e-mails to your address and private messages through the forum regarding the missing resin parts for 40mm Quad Bofors with mk-51 directors (6pcs) an 5inch/25 single AAguns (8pcs) in Advanced Plus Set for CA-35 . However as yet there was no reply.

I apologize for posting it here but it looks like all other options to communicate with Pontos are not working.

Could you contact me through pm to solve this problem?

Thanks,

Korras

Don't bother... Pontos does not respond to any form of communications, unfortunately. I left them like at least 5 e-mails and couple of PM. Also tried to get answer through forum - without luck.

I disagree. I have communicated with Pontos and had no problem.
Try emailing them at: help@pontosmodel.com
keep your English simple and to the point as their grasp of the language isn't great.
