Hey, I saw my name pop up quite a bit here

The new Laci thing is : working years on your ship , then ruin the decals on the flightdeck.... :lol_3:

Even without knowing this particular kit, I never had much faith in resin ships, for none of the ones I've seen looked ANY better than a plastic one. They just weigh and cost more.. Sorry about your struggle. If it's worth anything: You are doing this bent piece of ..... justice though!

keep it up, the finishline is drawing near!

by the by: do have experience with Bronco 1/350 aircraft?

Laci

Thanks Nicolas, just these builds take so much time fixing things from ISW. Broken parts and warp pieces and have to scratchbuild them. Hopefully I wil be done by June. In July I'm taking a two week vacation from the madness. :thumbs_up_1:

You have really stuck this out and from where I sit at my computer screen it looks outstanding. I was embarked on the Inchon in '88. Too bad there aren't any 1/350 kits of this capable, ground laying ship class. They served well into the 90's and did well. The photo's you included of the actual ship and airgroup look like out of the late '60's or early '70's. This will make a nice addition to your Gulf of Tonkin theme.

Looking forward to seeing you wrap it up and the embarked air wing.

So glad you're back at it. When I finish IKE, work will resume on Kennedy. BTW, nice work on OKI. :thumbs_up_1:

I was on board Oki during the Iran hostage takeover. 53 days in the Indian Ocean 3/3 Marines.
