Probably this will sound stupid and I'll get a reputation of nitpicker after I made a remark about a certain bow wave (Hi Mr. Flodberg :wave_1: ). Anyway here it is. When a ship sails (and yours does, judging by bow wave and wake) it creates a relative wind, mostly going aft (depends of course on ship's course, speed and wind speed and direction). This would generally blow the cooling water from any pump exits aft under a certain angle. Yours are going straight down and therefore caught my attention. I know it's probably too late to fix it, but if there was a contest you might have gotten that remark I guess.

Regardless of the above I love the result of your ship. The water effect is great and I love the peeled off paint effect on the hull sides. That really nails it! Brilliant work with the above just being a minor remark coming from experience with water and wind.

Hello Neptune! That's certainly a true remark, a very logical one indeed. Nevertheless it is already difficult to figure out a decent water jet with no speed, so I cannot imagine how I could do it with the speed effect and the relative wind! Here I have used solder wire with a built up of white glue, and I have no idea about how the thing will look if bend backward. thanks for the comment, cheers, Jean. :wave_1:

Counter nit: the wake doesn't show a great amount of speed, so the discharges CAN be vertical. :thumbs_up_1:

For some reason, the finished pics were split out and put in the Completed section as their own thread, and then the build thread was also moved here, resulting in two separate threads for this project. I've now merged them back into one here in the Completed section.

Hello Tim! Yes I've noticed that, but the pics in the complete model section were different and made a topic of their own. I am not the one who moved the WIP section there! Have a nice day, Cheers from France, Jean. :cool_2:

very good work indeed.
I only have one objection: the sea should be level with the frame. Right now it looks like you have a carrier in a giant pool. Is the any way to raise it?

Kalimera.
This is intentional as the plexyglass box will be held by the sides of the "pool". Cheers.

I understand. Maybe next time you could try it the other way around, holding the plexi in place by the sea from the inside.
