just a quick update.dont laugh :lol_1: not i painted the hull green beacuse thats all the paint i have just as a undercoat and to see if i need to light fill 98%happy need to do a little filling tomorrow and when i get grey undercoat then i will post a new pic.cheers :surfer:

Regarding posting your pictures to this forum, go to this address, you can upload your pictures to it and then post them from there onto warships.com

You will have to register, but it's FREE and you can store up to 100 photos. Just follow the instructions for uploading to the site. Once you have uploaded the photos, to your Album. You will see them displayed with a Url, Tag, Image address. Just click on the Img address Copy, then go onto the Forum and Paste the Img address onto your message page. It will then sho up as a photo in your message. :thumbs_up_1:

with the grey undercoat on.needs more work but very good without balsa wood sealed just with light body filler on it.wonder if the yorktown was round when uss enterprise in 1945 i have the plans for cv6 from floating drydock wonder if yorktown would have been in the same refit would be interesting enjoy cheers matt

That hull looks great. I like the idea of it being a carrier posted for a change. Now we need a sub posted. Sorry but Im still a RC sub lover/bottom feeder. :lol_1: Are you going display or RC?

nope not r/c model i havnet the skills to do that yet maybe one day.at 6 feet long maybe it should. :jump_1: not into subs that much dont mine the german u boat v11c class though.

not over fussed on them though.but i like battleships uss ariziona class and iowa class.and some australian naval frigates and of course from my homeland of new zealand leander class and anzac class friagte as well
