Very nice set.

Now how about scaling it down to 700 for Fujimi kit? :cool_2:

Edit: Btw. has anyone seen available detail set for Fujimi 1/700 Kaga by Wonsan Model?

Tetra - any chance of posting a photo that is a close-up of the wood decking?

Not until you mentioned it. At first glance, it looks comprehensive. Here's a link to Ebay with an offering. Pics at the bottom: http://www.cafr.ebay.ca/itm/Wonsan-Mode ... 0582884614

Thank you, mopy.
We are planning to design a '1/700 IJN CV Kaga Detail-up Set'.
It did not materialized yet, too early to tell you exactly.
Once the product design progresses, I will inform here.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year!

Do the white-metal parts have to cast in white metal? Is there a reason they couldn't be done in resin instead?

Yep. That is about the only link I could also find, but as it states up left this item is sold.
Now I regret I haven't picked one up around 2 years ago when I saw it.

But now I have my fingers crossed for Tetra Model Works.

Thank you for those photos. The PE looks great, and the planking looks staggered. Wow. Excellent.

Having recently used Tetra's set for the 1/350 Intrepid, I can say tell you that you can buy with confidence! I loved their set, the detail was amazing, the fit perfect, and aside from one or two issues with the instructions, the instructions were easy to follow, and in a logical order and layout, as well as logical parts layout on the frets. I experienced none of the frustrations that I had when using similar sets from Pontos.

To lower the cost, I think. I saw the metal parts. It looks better than the photo.

Since old WEM went out of business, not much as far as I know. If you are in Europe, why don't you contact them, directly?
