thanks for the remark jim, moveing on I made some ladders out of styrene as there are quite a few of them and it would tax my soldering skill to make them from brass, also a gang plank and two life raft holders.i added the guy wires to the funnel so it is finished except for the final paint touch up of the whole ship.heres some pics, masts and loading booms are next

so here we go,on to the masts, lots of drilling holes and thay have to be done in the right places ,as there are a fair number of eyes and blocks (pulleys).will rig the aft mast next.

its always been a struggle to get guy wires tight.this seems to work for me.i cut small brass tubing to about 1/8 in long, tread theguy wire material thru it then thru the turnbuckle and back thru the tube again.then when it is all mounted I pull on the dead end and when it is tight I crimp the brass. here's a few pics

That's a similiar technique to the one I used on the VIC 32 mast rigging, only difference I used an aluminium tube instead.

well the aft mast is done ,it was quite a chore all the guy wires and boom rigging had to be perfect or the mast would not be plumb or at the right angle, back lean,i guy needs one more hand to make it easier lol

well, front mast and loading booms done .all that's needed now is some paint touch up and a display case. All the ones I have made before where fairly basic white wooden base and Plexiglas .I friend of mine is a cabinet maker so he is going to build me a nice base .heres pics of the front boom
