I am currently building a 1/192 Missouri and am trying to find a putty that I could use for making the aft 40mm gun sponsons and the bow anchor bolsters. I used something in the past for similar situations, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was or even if it would still be available today.

What I was looking for was the latter case you described. I did in fact buy the Milliput and was extremely pleased with it. I especially liked how you could smooth it out with water and it's long working time.
Thanks Matt.

Tamiya liquid cement seems to smooth out the surface of their white putty for melgmccauley wrote:What I was looking for was the latter case you described. Are you copying a commercially available product?
