Far more progress than I have made on a modelling project. Looks nice!

Very nice Gabriel, and a very nice subject for me!
Also very good progress so far! 1/350 carriers must be so much work...
Cheers,
Marijn

Thanks guys! Coming from you two it means a lot.
Marjin, I find it amusing that you think 1/350 is so much work given what you are doing in 1/700! Although I think the amount of work does have some direct correspondence to the quality of the base kit. This one happens to be very nice.
Dan, tip for you when doing assembly: On the starboard side of the hull there are two pieces that end up next to each other. In the instructions step 3. Pieces R3 and R20. Install R3 first. R20 has no guide points.

Several parts that are supposed to be on the fantail deck and starboard hull are now attached as well as started work on the funnels.
The seams still need to be cleaned up as well as a mess that I created in the process of attaching some parts.
Thanks for looking though.

Is it bad when you have been traveling so much that the flight crew starts to recognize you?
Anyway, I finally got some more time in this weekend and finished the PE on the funnels.
Note to people doing this: The instructions on the PE for the funnels have some of the parts listed backwards. Pay attention to which ones fit what funnel an you should be fine.
As always, thanks for looking.

You're making great progress. Makes me feel guilty about accomplishing so little this past week.
Oh well...

Thanks guys!
Tim, keep in mind the time stamps from the previous set of pictures. I have not gotten much done. In fact I am flying out again this week.....

More bits on the hull sides for me this weekend. If I become bored with that I will work on the AA.

Did some seam filling on the starboard side and worked on the fantail bulkhead. On to the bow bulkhead and bow gun platform next.
