Hi,

aircraft carriers are most interesting because of their technic and all the operation and maintanance on deck. You captured all this in your wonderful and clean build! It is fun to look and search all the fine details - BZ :thumbs_up_1:

sgtryan13,

I know this thread is old. But I wanted to take a few lines to say WOW!!! That is so awesome. I was on board the USS Truman on the 2001-2002 cruise. You have captured her superbly. i am planning one day to model the USS Truman in the same era. if mine comes out half as good i would be on could 9. The only thing you are missing is me on the smoke sponson LOL. The hanger bay is most outstanding. Thanks for building her and giving me a few memories. I maybe contacting you in the future about info.

I'm glad the thread was bumped, because I missed it the first time around. Absolutely beautiful work! :thumbs_up_1: If I didn't know better, I would've thought this was Kelly Quirk's Truman...

Many thanks fellas! Devil, feel free to ask away, I am glad to help if I can. I am putting the skills learned and honed on the Truman to work right now on builds of the Bush and Reagan.

Fantastic! I served 4 deployments aboard the Truman as a part of the airing with the Ragin' Bulls and the detail is just fantastic.

Impressive and realistic! Attention to detail. To my mind, that's what it is all about. :wave_1:

I'm planning doing USS Harry S. Truman in 1/700 as my wifes ship HMAS Darwin was part of the task force with USS Harry S. Truman
