That's just sick! :heh: my PE doesn't look that good in 1/350.

Great job so far,

Matt

Thanks!

There are some small gaps in the PE, there will be some platforms or stairs in these locations.

That's fantastic! Which printing service did you use? And whose PE?

Shapeways and Toms Modelworks PE. It's the 1/1200 set, the difference in scale is really miniscule.

Wow :thumbs_up_1: I have a hard enough time seeing my 1/700 stuff even with an optivisor. How do you do it in 1/1800? It looks fantastic!

Lower hull is attatched, sanding is done, rudders, propellers, and shafts installed too.

Aircraft, gun turrets, etc all done. Time for paint

Airbrushing is all done, time to cut in with my collection of tiny paint brushes! Then washes.

You must have very good eyes to do that!! A shame I cannot make 1/350 models to look as good! :cry_3:
By the way, the 3d printed ship look so nice. I could barely see any print lines! What material was it printed in?

Thanks!

It's their new high-def black that Shapeways is using. There aren't any print lines it looks injection molded.

Thanks Jim,

The model overall is 120mm (4.75in) long. The red linen name plate is 30mm (1.25in) for scale.
