I got the very nice 1/700 flyhawk Lutzow from Mike at Starling Models at Telford Scale ModelWorld in November

Finding myself with only a couple of days over the holidays at the bench I was looking in the box and thought the bonus Grosser Torpedo Boat would be great fun and doable in a couple of days so I gave it a go.

It was a peach of a kit, just beautiful detail for the scale, the PE was very pliable and easy to work and I only had one drama, which was self made, when I lost the rear mast and had to scratch a replacement from brass.

Anyway, waffle over, here it is.

Thanks for looking

Chris

Really nice work Chris! Love the photo of it in your hand. Really emphasizes how tiny this kit really is. Thanks for sharing!

I wish Flyhawk would release this kit as an individual model. Don't want to buy a Lutzow every time I want a destroyer! I've emailed Flyhawk a couple of times, but never got a response or acknowledgement. They must have gotten the mail because it didn't bounce back. Does Flyhawk ever answer mails? :wave_1:
