-набор от фирмы Trumpeter;
-наборы фототравления от фирмы GMM для американских боевых кораблей(крейсеров и эсминцев,линкоров и авианосцев). Это из запасов;
-набор фототравления от фирмы L'Arsenal для моделей кораблей типа "Liberty";
-набор фототравления от фирмы Tom's Modelworks для кораблей типа "Liberty";
-декали знаков нейтраль,сделанные на заказ;
-переделана надстройка так как изкоробочная сильно отличалась от нужной;
-сделаны гнезда зенитных автоматов;
-сымитирован трубопровод на надстройке;
-сделаны заново мачты и грузовые стрелы;
-сделан новый винт (но тут и просчёт);
-сделаны заново крылья мостика и их подпорки;
-сымитирована "клетка" на тыльной стороне надстройки;
-проведён такелаж;
-сделаны из тонкой проволоки флагштоки;
-доработана дымовая труба;
-из колечек из проволоки сделаны все иллюминаторы;
-сделаны новые спасательные плоты в районе мачт;
-заметны огромные капли клея в районе крепления грузовых стрел к стенке надстройки и в районе крепления мачт к надстройке (уж слишком часто сносил);
-облажался с направлением вращения винта. Тут совсем без комментариев,ибо нашел проблему на ровном месте,а как-до сих пор понять не могу;
-поленился переделать руль на более правдоподобный;
-видно,что для второй мачты горизонт завален из-за излишне натянутого такелажа;
-очень сильно промахнулся с размером знаков нейтрала на надстройке;

Good day,comrades. I want to bring to Your attention the model transport type "Liberty" of the project EC2-S-C1 called "guard".
The idea is to make a model of this vehicle came when I saw the topic Vladimir Yakubov with unfinished construction of this model. I am very interested in the photo of the "Guard"made by the canadian patrol plane near Vancouver,where he was pictured with the signs of neutral. Actually for this photo and the photos of the other ships of "Liberty" and continued building. How successful the result-You be the judge,dear viewers.
Actually,for completeness:
the kit from Trumpeter of the company;
sets of photo-etched parts from the company GMM for American warships(cruisers and destroyers,battleships and carriers). This is from inventory;
-a set of photo-etched parts from the company L'arsenal models of the ships of "Liberty";
-a set of photo-etched parts from Tom's Modelworks firms to ships of "Liberty";
-decals signs neutral,made to order;
stand wood,made by a master with Kropki Anatoly Pozhidaeva ( which did for me and all others stand).
Now on to the model itself. To begin with,what was done and/or redone:
-reworked add-on as iskrometnaya very different from need;
-made nests of anti-aircraft guns;
-simulated pipeline on the superstructure;
-redone the mast and cargo boom;
-made new screw (but there is a miscalculation);
-redone the wings of the bridge and their backup;
-simulated "cage" on the back side of the superstructure;
-the standing rigging;
-made of thin wire flagpoles;
-modified a chimney;
-of the rings of the wire made all the Windows;
-made new liferafts in the area of masts;
-made additional boats in the area of the second mast,davits for them and the reason for their placement.
Now on to the shoals:
-a huge drop of glue in the area of fastening of the cargo booms to the wall of the superstructure and the area of attachment of the mast to the superstructure of the (too often demolished);
-screwed up with the direction of rotation of the screw. There is absolutely no comment,because I found a problem on level ground,and as still can not understand;
-was too lazy to redo the wheel on more plausible;
-it is clear that for the second mast horizon littered because of the overly tight rigging;
-greatly missed the size of the neutral on the superstructure;
-not exactly exactly are the pedestals for the bow group of boats.
Sort of listed all his mistakes. But if you notice more,then you are welcome to list them.
On this report your finish and offer to see the construction and final photos. Pleasant viewing.

Very nice work.

I especially like your custom lifeboats forward of the deck house and the rigging. Glad to see you replaced the kit's life rafts as well. Very nice job!

I have seen photos of Liberty ships in neutrality markings which also include a Soviet flag on the cargo hatches as well to aid in recognition from the air.

Thanks for posting.

If you have not seen photos they may be of interest, covering lend lease Liberty Ships. One has a collection of Soviet flags visible on deck. The others appear to, but I'll leave the photo evaluation up to you.

Best wishes.

reigels,Thank you very much! Very inetersno photos. I did not even know that the pictures I was trying to make a model,and captured more flags on the hatches of the hold. Puzzled,what is and decided not to play.

A beautifully executed model of a lesser-known variation on the ubiquitous liberty ship
Bravo, sir!
