Wow...with hull plating and bulkhead details! Can't comment on the authenticity but the CAD looks quite impressive! Let's wait and see...

cheers

Yes... I hope they don't do the same dumb mistake as Hasegawa's Nagato hull detail, but for me is more shocking to have 2 different 1/350 scale WWII Missouris from 2 different Chinese companies, what a waist!!!!, they can even choose on a different Iowa class, or many other good options.

Re-doing as a different WWII Iowa class should not be a big issue! Steve (Model Monkey) offeres the New Jersey round bridge and open bridge...and by just changing the SK-2 for an SK-1 radar you get a Wisconsin! What I find sad is that they do not pick a different subject...can be main stream, I like main stream...a new range of carriers for example of maybe a 1991 Midway?

Perhaps they revisit first the big sellers. Once those are all reissued that marginal interest is over, you will get your Arizonas and carriers and then may be cruisers. They will tie them to some movie etc. Think it will be ok but Im with you, lots of interesting ships not modelled, youd think one could focus on those. Its not a kids hobby anymore, its an adult hobby and should be catered to adults.

Have seen a Hasegawa 1/350 scale IJN light cruiser Sakawa kit listed for release in late March 2018. A non-supporting on-line hobby store is taking pre-orders

For those who like "super deformed" kits, Meng is releasing Scharnhorst in Feb 2018.

Detail looks to have been improved since the original test moulding photos. There's plating now and the degausing cable looks to have been added. Just hope trumpeter don't take forever with their 1/350 version.

IBG's 2018-2019 catalog is just out as shown on this Polish site: https://nowosci.plastikowe.pl/aktualnos ... bg-models/

At the very bottom :heh: are the following:

Okręty
1/700

70007 — ORP „Garland” (1944) G-Class Destroyer
70008 — HMS „Glowworm” (1938) G-Class Destroyer
70009 — HMS „Hotspur” (1941) H-Class Destroyer
70010 — HMS „Harvester” (1943) H-Class Destroyer
70011 — HMS „Ilex” (1942) I-Class Destroyer
70012 — HMS „Ithuriel” (1942) I-Class Destroyer

Having built the first two (Polish) of their escort destroyer range I find this list very welcome :thumbs_up_1:
