I somehow never noticed this project.

Very nicely done! Your work is proving to be very sharp.

Excellent result with the 40 mm Bofors.

Thank You Guys very much for support and kind comments.

I really try to do my best but this Pontos set is very much demending!

Now, I am at the stage where all main elements are already on the superstructure. There are still many parts to be mounted but I feel that improvement is good

And this is how Superstructure looks like now:

It's looking really nice, Wojtek! You're doing a super job. I especially like the way you make the vertical piping on the tower to stand out. How did you do that? Dis you spray a black undercoat before you put the grey on? :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Joe, Larry,

Thanks a milion! :thumbs_up_1:

As for shading: I use black pirimer and additionally after gloss varnish I use panelliner from Tamiya to pop those elements a bit. However, with next ship I will change the way of painting. With black primer colours look a little bit too dark form me... I will use grey primer for base and black paint only for preshading.

Now, it is just to put this all together...

I think it is about 2/3 of work with Superstructure and it looks like this:

Very nice work Wojtek! Details look sharp and crisp and the paint looks awesome.

Looks like you're running out of space in your light box too.....had the same issue with my 1/350. Good thing you only have to add the main hull to really see how big it is ;)

Thank You Guys! I have a little break in my workshop because of lots of business trips.

Light box can't handle the mightiness of my Mo

I honestly have no idea how will I make photos of whole hull...

Some time has passed since I have been updating my Mo thread. The reason is that the size of the ship is not making it easy to make photos. The other reason is also honestly - my lazyness :cool_2:

Here is the state of my progress (I am sorry for the background):

Here are some photos of hull weathering:

I have also started to work on capitulation scene:

Figurines are also done. Even when there are about 160 of them it looks a little bit not too much...

So, what do You think about this?

Impressive! The weathering really makes the plastic look more "steel"! :thumbs_up_1:

That's amazing. The figures really give a scale to the size of the ship and its guns.
