Awesome! More RN destroyers, the IBG Hunts weren't bad so I'll be getting some of these, I think I'll stock them in my shop too.

thanks
Mike

The IBG hunts were good so I'll probably get one of each of the Glowworm etc.

Wow. I model 1/700th only and even I'M impressed :worship_1:

If this kit does at all well (and I expect it will do VERY well), wouldn't the perfect follow-up be HMS Repulse?

(Must now scurry along and get the 1/700th PoW for meself :heh: )

I think "scaling up" (so to speak) their Derfflingers would be a good move for Flyhawk, too.

While of course I prefer to see subjects not previously released, I certainly can't begrudge the newcomers in the 1:350 field the need to build their war chests with mass-market favorites. Bismarck, sure - the market always seems to be able to support another Bismarck. Hood and Repulse... Are the Trumpeter ones really in that much need of replacement? But what I'd seriously advise Flyhawk to do, for an almost sure-fire mass-market winner: a new 1/350 Arizona. Just imagine that, with Flyhawk's level of detailing!

Very excited to see Flyhawk venturing into 1/350. Great subject too and so glad it's not another Iowa! Perhaps we can convince them to do a 1/350 Butler Class destroyer! Tabberer or Sammy B! Can't think of a better company to do it!

Bof ! The same as the ISE already issued some years ago. I would have prefered a full battleship version which has never been released for whatever reason I cannot guess

While I am excited by Flyhawk's first 1/350 scale kit, I am worried by the hull plating. It is very difficult to make out in images of the real ship so I think it is better left off altogether. There seems to be a fad for it these days and although it will be nothing like Merits' horrible Enterprise slabs, I for one can do without it.

.

Some excellent Flyhawk choices there, the Sydney is a model of what I regard as the prettiest cruiser class ever.

Actually the Leanders are the prettiest cruisers.

I wondered why Mendip, a type I Hunt, until I looked her up and found she was passed to China. The selection of RN ships is outstanding. Thanks Flyhawk, can't wait.
