Dear All

apologies if this question has been posted many times before, but if I wanted to post a picture of one of my models from Imgur, which of the many options should I choose?

Thanks for your advice

Andrew

This forum is a "BBcode" board, so either of the BBCode or Linked BBCode will work as long as the image is under the dimensional limit. If your image exceeds the 1200pixel wide limit, click the "huge thumbnail" text at the bottom of the various options, then select one of the BBcode options.

This seems to be the options I have:

Tried to add a file too

Still not much happening? Does anyone else use Imgur?

Andrew

Use the second link option. Forum BBCode IMG tags need to reference the exact link to the picture.

You can just leave those links as-is: readers can just click on them to see the images.

If you want the images to show up automatically, highlight the link ending in .jpg and click the forum reply window's "Img" button. Because your images are too wide (they're more than 1200px across), you'll need to either resize them before uploading to imgur, or use imgur's auto-resizing option. For the latter, you can just type the letter 'h' right before the .jpg in the link, so it looks like this in your reply window:

Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/ZnNS8oih.jpg[/img]

which then appears as this once it's posted:

Thanks for asking the question. I use Imgr and I could never figure out how to post photos either. I'll post this to my desktop.
