The ship is basically done, just need to add couple of small parts, crew figures and weather.

Finished it couple of weeks ago, but then went on vacation, so posting the photos just now. Will write an article about it.

Thread resurrection !

I joined specifically to post in this thread, which I found via google search.
The OP may not see it unfortunately as he hasn't logged on since Sat Aug 13, 2016

In any event I wanted to add my voice to those above regarding just how excellent this little model is.

I have a special interest in this vessel - the wreck is only a few kilometres from my house.

I have built a website with information on this ship, and others of the Queensland Colonial Navy (with more information to be added in the coming weeks)

As it may be something people on this forum might enjoy, you can see it at www.gayundah.info
There is also an HMQS Gayundah facebook group, if you are that way inclined.

Cheers all.

Michael.

Thanks, took a look at the website - very nicely done. Would have been very helpful when I was building the model :).

Mate

you can contact me via the website (there's a contact form).
I was wondering if I could have permission please to put your model on the website,
with a link back to this build thread, plus any other credit or attribution you'd like.

It deserves to be seen :)

Cheers
Michael.
