Hello again,

as I've suggested in my 'Mo' build thread I am docking U-Boat from Trumpeter in my workshop.

There is not much to show yet but I want to share with You some of the details of the set.

Now is the time to collect photos and check the literature background...

Of course Sean, the other options of build would be a total waist of this model possibilities! :thumbs_up_1:

For progress we need to wait a bit. This model requires a lot of planning...

It would be a waste indeed, especially the aftermarket you've got. And yes, you definitely need a (five year?) plan to do the whole darn thing justice... :wave_1:

Ok,

I know some time has passed since I have started this thread but it is better late than never! :submarine:

I am now back at my workstation with this huge model.

I have started with torpedo section and here are some photos.

Torpedo (I have used different colors than Trumpy has suggested):

Ceiling part of torpedo section:

Wall and passage to soldier rest and radio section:

Lower part of torpedo section - torpedo storage (4 items):

Upper part of torpedo section:

So, how do You think?
I am mostly interested in opinions from fellow modellers concernig the weathering...

I am one step from closing the torpedo section so here are some photos. After closing the roof of the section the access will be quite limited. That's unfortunate because a lot of beatiful details will disappear...

Fellow Modellers, I need some help here. I can't find anywere the answer to my question which is:

During the alarm, in which sections the regular lights are being replaced with red light?

Thanks in advance for help.

Good grief!! If I didn't know better I's swear this was a real boat! You give a whole new meaning to the term "Master Modeller". This is fantastic!

Thank You very much for opinions. Unfortunately, I am not so happy with these effects... Weathering is far from being pefect and I am not too optimistic about final result...
