nope tried it, its just as wide LOL, Barry won't even go inside it due to not being able to sit the Hermes hull flat, you will have to wait till July 1st for Dreadnasty mate! Should be good screening Vic and sailing line astern to the senior admiral LOL. PHOTO value will be massive!

JG needs to, last I heard anyway. He's alright when ya get to know him, bit rough round the edges.

I will have 12 signals hoisted on the day, 1st July, that is, black smoke comming out of the stacks light signals, rotating guns, well, A, X and Y, P and Q will be still unless I figure out a way of making them only swing out properly without hitting the superstructure, if I get this thing right it will be pretty good I hope.

Fantastic build!!

If I remember correctly, Dreadnought rammed and sank a U-boat. All you need for a complimentary model is that U-boat!

Hi DDP, with my propulsion set up she'll stop in half her length from full power ahead, a scale 75 kts emergency speed, real speed at normal scale full power roughly 23 ish kts.

More work on the Dradsty has taken place over the last day or so and although I am waiting for certain castings from the moulders, here is the work so far.

Here you can see that work on the superstructure is continuing and the deck has been painted around the funnel area.

Paul is really making a nice job of the Dreadnought and replacing most of the fittings with his own scratchbuilt items.

Work so far Paul, Excellent :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Pictures are coming from Paul, thick and fast at the moment, so here are his latest.

Note the first of the submarine net booms, there are lots more to fit yet, and each one is a different length.

Here's a bird's eye view of the focsle deck with more fittings having been added.

Image

Here you can see that some of the scuttles (portholes) have been fitted, doors and a lovely neat looking ladder.

Dreadnought shows off some of her armour

And finally, here is a shot looking towards the stern.
