Gentlemen,
If a museum were interested in a virtual build of a particular ship, what types of questions would have to be answered to prepare a ballpark estimate for such services?
This is very hypothetical right now but I am thinking along the lines of an animated build of a ship on the stocks through to a launch.
Any help or suggestions are most welcome.

depends on the quality of the work. and how fast you need it done. also some of what your talking about involves from what I understand not just the outside but the inside as well. also things like the size of the ship. I tugboat will be much easyier then a big modern ship and a older sailing ship will be much harder mainly just from the rigging sence.
but mainly its the time spent. figure 15-20 dollars an hour would be a guess. maybe less maybe more depends on the person/group you get to do it.
