So...Flyhawk did the research, engineered the molds, and did the injection molding for Pit Road?
Well, I don't know about the research, but I would bet Flyhawk certainly engineered the molds, and probably will handle production.

Flyhawk doesn't seem to like doing IJN ships under it's own brand name. Personally I would leave this sort of thing to the many Japanese companies and get back to RN cruisers and destroyers, with maybe the completion of all the German major units. And Hilfskreuzer, and T,M and R-boats. That might just be a little bit of a selfish view.

Personally, I don't care what Flyhawk makes - I am a totally prejudiced bigot! Flyhawk makes such well-researched, designed and engineered, and detailed kits, and virtually fall together better than a Tamiya kit, that, for me, is a joy to build. If Flyhawk makes it, I'll buy it (including their 1/72 armor kits)! I have read some modelers criticize Flyhawk for the amount of small pieces - simple, don't buy them! But some of these same modelers turn around and criticize other manufacturers for lack of detail. Rant...rant...rant! :bash_2:

I'd like to see the Scharnhorst box to know what they are coming out with next

DOY and Agincourt is probably very high on that list. For 60-80 EUR you can buy and tell us. :)

I'd make a small wager that a panzerschiffe is next.

And already is.

1/350 USS CL-55 Cleveland - from (of course) VeryFire

I have got a poster from Exeter detail up set, and there she is :)

with Salem and other already released ships, so I think Cleveland should be next.

That would be really cool.

We've needed a 1/350 Cleveland very badly.

Clevelands are great and all (and amazingly numerous), but as cruisers are concerned what I find puzzling is why there've been no injection Brooklyns yet (in either main scale). A whopping range of time periods, paint schemes, refits, historical events, and foreign services!

According to this, the Joy Yard Missouri has been released in China:

It looks really nice.

Wonder how much it will cost. Looks like it will not be cheap.

Flyhawk's Scharnhorst now up on Hobby Search. The link is to the deluxe, they show the plain vanilla  too.
I'm very curious (when we have the instructions) to see the markings and colors they recommend.

The markings seem to be the final scheme Scharnhorst was seen in - a sort of horizontal wave pattern with a thin white (light colored) line separating the main colors. Actual colors will always be disputed.
