Very exciting to see a modern USCG National Security Cutter in 1/350 scale! And one that's been in the news! Very anxious to see you you deal with some of the details on this ship such as the bridge and boat cradle/crane (or whatever they call that arrangement on the starboard side of the boat). Great to see it's coming with the Dolphin and support boats too!
Thanks for bringing us this kit. Really anxious to see what else you do. Hoping for a Butler Class Destroyer Escort. USS Tabberer would be awesome and completely overlooked in 1/350 scale.

Dave

Hello Miguel,
Curiosity is a good thing, but I cannot say too much at the moment about Black Cat Models future releases. The only thing I can unveil is that the 1/400 ship will be Royal Navy, and that no less than five 1/350 US Navy ships are currently under development. One will have three different versions, the other one only two...
More information will be given as the projects near their completion, ha, ha!!!

David,
You will probably be amazed by the high standard of quality of Bertholf in 1/350 scale. The kit will comprise a lot of parts, larger ones are in resin, but the finest ones like the boat cradles and all the bracing found on the stern will be 3D printed with one of our most precise printer. I will post in a matter of days some photos of a pre-production model, so you can make your opinion.
You will not be desapointed ! :cool_2: :cool_2:

I'm drooling just at the news...

Disappointment, I hope not! I'm still purring from the Farragut, LOL.

I hope the 1/400 Royal Navy will be a WW2 subject because I buy almost any navy that's post war and I don't want to wishing that it was 1/350 instead of 1/400. I stay out of RN WW2 stuff, so a 1/400 kit won't bother me.

Hello Walt,
Thank you for you message, full hull version of Bertholf is available now. Modelers have the choice between full hull or waterline, there is a different numbering for the kits on the website.
