Wow. This has been quite the project, with a consistantly high standard of work. Excellent.

Thanks for all nice comments, the Princeton will attend IPMS the Netherlands at saturday. Until I'm ready for the next 1/350 ship, I'll probably catch up with this project: http://www.shipmodels.info/mws_forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=154909&hilit=hammann. I now have a useful water dio product to finish it after about 5 years of inactivity...

I'm really looking forward to seeing it there.

Pieter, you might find me at the Warships stand in the first hall, if I'm not off pillaging the tombola at the entrance. I expect the contest will again be left from the entrance, so the Princeton will be there. Maybe I'll also bring the Bismarck to our stand.

I met Pieter at IPMS The Netherlands, he showed me one of his own creations. I marveled at the scale of this beautiful model.

I can happiliy announce to you that the Princeton has won the Lifecolor Best Ship award, worth some goodies that will be well received, when they are sent to me by mail. Something went wrong at the prize distribution stand, but I'm not concerned to have to wait a few days for this:
