I'm new here so I apologize in advance for any mistakes made with posting this. I'm relatively new to ship building but enjoyed this effort immensely: Tamiya's 1:350 Kagero with Infini etchings. I had a lot of fun building this model and definitely go me hooked on this corner of modeling. I'm currently working on the 1:350 Exeter and if you allow me I will post some of that as well over the coming days. I was quite surprised when this model took home a gold at Scale Model Challenge in eindhoven in 2019, and it definitely encouraged me to explore a little more. Thank you all for your gorgeous work. Its a joy to be a part of this community. All comments welcome of course, happy modeling, Jeroen

Wow, very impressive work, you must have cut your teeth on other modelling. Look forward to seeing your Exeter if it is of this standard, do you have progress pics?
Cheers, Will

Your Kagero is beautiful!
If you are happy with your Exeter when it is done you may want to consider sending the photos in as a submission to the site. This would place it on the home page under "What's New" and you will automatically get your own spot in the gallery.

It's a beautiful build, Jeroen, and the gold medal validates that. Well deserved.

Congrats Jeroen! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

I'm glad you won gold. Not just because the model deserved it, but mostly because it motivated you to build some more ships!
