1/700 - IJN Repair Ship Akashi

Started this project around early 2018 but other projects got in the way and was left to collect dust on the workbench. It's nice to see this project finally done I had fun loading the deck with accessories and leftover PE from other projects.

Beautiful job. Nice rigging. I really like it.

PitRoad or Aoshima kit?

Great looking build. Both the rigging and weathering are really well done. Interesting looking ship. You should submit photos to the gallery.

Another nice model. I like it even more due to the unusual subject and the layout of the diorama. Expert job on both models!

The detail work and lived-in quality of your build is amazing. I love the little bicycle.

Beautifull! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:
I love the lived-in look with all the deck clutter!

Have you ever considered adding crew figures?

I have thought about buying crew PE whenever I do a PE run on stores online, but I always feel that I won't be able to set a good narrative when I place a person on the deck. Honest truth I'm a bit intimidated about getting it "wrong" in terms of placement of each person on deck, it took enough time for me place each accessory on deck so it looks natural. I've done a few "dry" deck stuff placements and it can come off as over excessive or look weird sometimes and it does take a bit of time just sitting there an pondering. I'm sure if I do crew it'll take even more time and I'm just not ready for that yet :P
