So...what part of the world does the map represent  Wonderful work, Paul. Now why isn't the cabin on my Dread like that....

Hi Timmy, it is no part of the world as you will have to get close when the roof is on and with a torch, but, from the outside on a bright day it will give an appearance of a chart on the chart table.

Thanks guys for you comments, she will only get better from now.

Actually Timmy, it's a chart of Kingsbury Lake. :lol_3: :lol_3: :lol_3:

Paul is not very familiar with this place as it will be Dreadnought's first appearance.

But I'm sure Paul would be able to reproduce a real map if he so wishes

Hi guys, just to let you all know that Dreadnought has been mothballed for a couple of weeks, due to other commitments, but, there will be a new update midweek on this last weekend's progress, stick with it. She should be completed by the end of August and goes operational mid June, unless I can manage earlier.
I have got somebody jumping on me for another ship, LOL, well, hell, I should do a Burke 2A in about 4 weeks?
Paul...

Lovely! I'm finding your work on and around the superstructure answering several questions for me. I look forward to the next instalments.

When/if you have the time, would you mind saying whether the kit is worth the money, how well has it gone together/would it go together if you weren't scratching a lot of it, and (64M$ one) would you build one again? Just curious!

This is the reason why the Dreadnough has not appeared for a few weeks. I have been working on these.

The first set of photos are of an Arleigh Burke

Okay guys, I have just blown the cobwebs of the Dreadsty, after completing other projects, but work has now resumed. I have now got the motors installed and everything has been bench tested. Other work has been putting on the submarine booms along the sides and quite a few more deck fittings, and work on the mast.
