Hi Jim, that is secret at the mo, just wait till she is finnished and I hope she turns out to be a stunner! I admire your work with the small stuff very much and I try and emulate it bigger, I am working on two more battleships at present, plus many other types, so lets see what happens.
Best regards, Jim, Paul...

Beatiful work. Love the photography. If mine was that good, I might have some kind of a reputation around here.

If my QM turns out as good as Dreadnought, I'll be beyond pleased. In fact, I'll probably spend more on displaying her than on building her

Pual, Will you be sailing Dreadnought next week as in your pictures, or will you sail her a little deeper in the water, she looks a little tender.

Hi Ron, yes she is riding high due to light ballast, but, she aint tender at all! She is a double hernia job as she is and because she is being sent to a client in the US, the ballast is only temporary for testing. I'll bring some more lead for next weekend to try and get her down some more, but, she don't need it really. It will just make her look more correct.

smoke unit and some rigging being added this comming week, plus more ballast for Ron, LOL, he can do the lowering if he wants? Old man, he will need three of him.

This thang weighs a ton!

Hi Ron, been round and round with this one on weight, I work with dead weight, not ballast and the construction is different also, I would say that Dreadnought is actually heavier to get to the right water line that Illustrious, my modern one and not Geoff's, I can put an I class carrier in the water with one hand using my hand/arm like a davit, this thing is diferent because of all the sticky out bits etc. I am a fairly big chap and have the muscle, but, Dreadnought is a bit more delicate.

she is a ball breaker!
sits well light, don't ya think?
