Great effort in this work.

It is always nice to recover things that have been done in our beginnings as modelers. I have recovered several ships, Hood, Prince of Wales, Indianapolis, Gneisenau, Takao and right now I am rebuilding the IJN Kumano that I made over thirty years ago and I hope to rebuild the IJN Yamato and the IJN Tone.

once all holes and structure changes done, I could glue deck on hull... what I did yesterday... now it had to be adjusted cause at certain places deck was up to 3-4mm larger than the hull... not an easy task as she doesn't go strait up... I had to give her the fluidity in curve change the real ship has

now I can start adding the bottom part of the 2 rear 40MM AA bathtubs, do the bow 20mm AA part, color hull .... etc

it all depends what pic you see... but it definitely isn't 2 times ... I have been wondering if I modify a little downward... as I think I put the line a little high... but lets be serious....I'm talking about 1-2 mm to high and my black line is about 2mm wide... that's 1.07 m on the real ship
I used this dry dock pic to define my black line

and the the black line is on this pic 4 feet... I'm close as 4 feet is about 1.2 m
this scale is 1/535... impossible to do 100% perfect

and it continues on my little Curtis S1 Seahawks
this was particularity difficult to make these rear wings look like wings with the necessary curbing due to their small size
