There is not going to be a 1/350 scale Rodney. Trumpeter does not make half of what they promise. Just bought the ISW kit on eBay for $800, anybody sitting on theirs could sell it for quite a lot...

Would Trumpeter release a 1/350 Rodney or Nelson, it would kill their business for the 1/200 versions, decreasing their sale by a huge percentage ...

On another subject, I would be happy that they release the new assault ship type 075 of the Chinese navy at 1/350 :wink_3.gif

I see your point, but think that it wouldn’t impact the 1/200 kits that much, those who want the large kit would still go for that but a 1/350 version would give those of us who build in the scale a chance to get one too. I for one stick purely to all things 1/350 scale.

Taiho looks terrific.

Okay, Dan, I'll have popcorn ready for your build. Take us to school.

Very, very excellent moldings. Pity I'm not interested in 1/350 scale. If they were to produce in 1/700 they could be a competitor for Flyhawk. :thumbs_up_1:

1/350 only. This is why I did not buy their 1/200 versions.
But do you have any better idea why, since so many years they mention the 1/350 Rodney and Nelson in their programs, and never release them ?

I'm still waiting for their 1/350 Pittsburgh.

We're certainly on course! We've got at least SIX new Colossus variants slated for this year; we're just finalizing the details for them to make sure they're all correct for the time periods we want to do. The first ones, Triumph and Glory, will be available in May, then the next two in the Summer. No Majestic, though. We were looking at that and there's only two that could be done even close to postwar fits with the tooling we already have, and new tooling and parts would be required for them. It might not be worth it for just one or two kits. But this will be the year for Colossus kits in 1/700, and one of them will be the first HMCS offering in plastic in 1/700!

In addition, Mike has confirmed that IHP WILL be producing an injection moulded 1960s Royal Navy CVA-01 !

OUTSTANDING.

It might not be much of a lesson. These pics make the kit seem incredibly detailed, accurate and straightforward. Terrific, like you said Steve, if true.

Indeed  And it's one that I can't wait to get started on!

Have seen Very Fire TAIHO 1/350 on ebay.com at 280 $ more or less ! How is-this possible when you consider the prices of the previous kits of this brand ? 100 - 150 $. This would be the type of price you might expect for a resin kit at this scale, or from Fujimi when they released their DDH Ise and Hyuga, years ago, but not from Chinese companies. Pfff ! :mad_1: :Mad_6:

Those sellers don´t have the model. They just add the pictures and trick people to pay, hoping to get the model first. Notice that the seller sends the model within 30 days. Add a day or two to that.

The Taiho kit doesn't even have a pending release date as of yet.

Well, the peaceful2018 / wearworld-1 / yanworld0082013 etc. is just one guy, of course. I have bought three kits from him and I only can confirm rather long delivery times (30+ days, maybe even two months) as he is apparently selling stuff he doesn't own yet. And he is sending the items to Europe via train then :-)

However, all three orders have been delivered successfully. So if you are in no rush and have no problem with the above mentioned, can't actually say a wrong word about him.

Edit: I checked the orders, they were just two of them actually. Very Fire's Mighty Mo DX and Orange Hobby's New Mex.
