Summer is always a rough season to find time for models... there's too many 1/1 scale projects that demand attention and the Admiral can be very persuasive. 
I keep getting distracted too; I "accidentally" started my other Bismarck last weekend and have been working on a couple of figure models to boot. All I can say is while I can't seem to stay focused on a major project, at least I'm still building.
This project isn't abandoned by a longshot, but I'm likely to take my time getting it done.
