Great job, Nicolas. You have a beautiful model there, one that you can be very proud of.

Now, for a bit of advice: DON'T HURRY! Take your time and enjoy the fun of creating. You're too far along to start rushing things just to get it done. You're not on any time limit and if you start rushing, you start making mistakes and getting frustrated.

Thanks for sharing your build with us, by the way. In addition to being educational, it's always a pleasure to see a master at work.

So I am planning on starting my fumbling attempts at this conversion, bought the recommended references, and cut the excellent how to sections from this thread. Which incidentally came out at over 1200 pages in a landscape format! One question that I never had answered was what the plans were for the battleship had she not been damaged at Dakar? It always surprised me that she might have gone back to France as I have difficulty seeing the Germans just leaving her alone?

2016 will be the year of the completion for this diorama !to do this, after a break, work resumed.
