thanks a lot (I already ordered a three-blade propeller)
BUT:
because I only had a general arrangement plan of decks and side elevation at hand, I had to do a lot of photo-investigation to reconstruct the lines, the elevation of the ship's bottom and the position of the bilge keels.
Your docking plan would have been the missing link. If I only had it earlier! (maybe you have some more material on "Copper Cliff?)
But my lines are not too far from the original:

hello stafan,union steamships converted three castle class corvettes to coastal steamers,the coqiitlam 11 ex leasides k432,the camosun ,ex saint thomes k488,and the chilcotin ex hespeler k489 these ships where to replace the cardena and catella.heres a couple of pics

hi stafan,yes I was meaning that once your corvette was finished it would be a interesting project to have them both ,before and after sort of thing,for the cardena I managed to get hull ines and some crude drawings for the upper works from the model maker at the Vancouver maritime museum.you already have hull plans and maybe there would be some drawings of the upper somewhere.there are several books out about the union steamship co,of Canada ,not to get mixed up with the parent co. from new Zealand

thanks for your suggestion. I already collected lots of photos of these little steamers (Most from Archives of city of Vancouver).
I found out, that there are also plans of the converted corvettes available from the Esquimalt Naval and Military Museum but only on cd-roms by postal shipment.
They cost 70$ for three pdfs and that's a bit expensive as long as I'm not quite sure to realise the project.
Anyhow, these steamers were handsome vessels but also a bit clumpsy compared to their former elegant appearance as corvettes.
I will think about it for a little while...

Back to my corvette, here are my latest achievements.
Position-lights, holders for floatanets, Parachute and cable device (PAC) and I did the sunshield frame over the compass platform a second time because the first one was asymetric.

Fantastic build.

Hi everybody,
just completed the wire-antennas (made from electric cable) and the funnel guys (0,4mm steel wire).
For the isolators of the antennas i used a drop of wood glue, painted brown afterwards.

So, when you have finished it (assuming you ever really finish it), what do you plan to do with the model?

of course she will be completed in "near future" (which means in less than one year ).
To be honest, I haven't yet made up my mind about the final destination of my model.
My wife is not entirely enthusiastic about a warship in our living room so she will either stay in my office or find some place for public display.
Maybe I ask the nearby "Schiffahrtsmuseum" to show it as "counterpart" for their uboats.

it's just made of a 1.2mm styrene stick with a piece of 2.5mm styrene tube glued on top.
Cutting the top with the right angle and some sanding, that's all.
