For fans of more exotic ships of the Imperial Japanese Navy, new by Masters of Military in 1/700:

Japanese research ship of the Kaiyo class
(first three ships, prewar, WW 2 fit)

Japanese research ship Kaiyo Maru No.4/5 (last three ships, also post war fit)
https://www.shapeways.com/product/JFXXZRDS6/ijn-research-vessel-kaiyo-maru-no-4-1-700?optionId=147441873&li=shops

There were six ships in the class, four of them were sunk during World War Two:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaiy%C5%8D_No.1-class_oceanographic_research_ship

The surviving ships served postwar as research ships for the Japanese coast guard.

Kaiyo Maru No. 5 had a strange fate: on 24. September 1952, she was sunk by the submarine vulcano My?jin-sh?!

I've done a bespoke USS Torsk Portsmouth sail in 1/350:
https://www.shapeways.com/product/U55CE ... 8&li=shops

This to go with the more generic 1/350 Portsmouth sail I already did:
https://www.shapeways.com/product/KEYKA ... 5&li=shops

And the 1/350 Electric Boat sail, I've revised the snorkel:
https://www.shapeways.com/product/QHPGT ... 4&li=shops

I've also done some 1/350 sonar accoutrements for completing either a GUPPY or Fleet Snorkel. While the AFV club kits comes with the "ovid" shape BQR-2 lower bow sonar dome, I've redrawn that and also created the version I've observed that has the pointed streamlined trailing edge.

Do you think it would be possible to make these also in 1/700?
